Models + Concept + CMS Figured I would show you what we have been working on for the past couple of days. There are several models that have been done and are ready to be textured and animated. In the process of getting that to work our concept artist has been hard at work and we now have finished ALL of the primary character race concepts. The rest of this week will be spent on getting CMS working within the game and once that is in place we will start to work with the volumetric clouds and our sky pipeline.

It is my goal to have the entire core models in place by the mid march and start to have the skill system and other "flashy" elements in place for the kickstarter. Once we get those all working we can start to show off just how great this game will be and put it into an interactive demo. The team has really come together in the last couple of days as they are aware the kickstarter is looming ever closer.

Very nice items. I tired to model a pickaxe a few months ago and it is harder to do then you would think when looking at keeping the polygons low. Looks like you did a great job.

Yeah, the issue we are having now is normal editing. Some of the normals are fucked so we have to go in and fix those.... learn something new every day.

It is like most things the more you do it the more you learn and the easy the first tasks become. Like when I was using Blender to make some of the art assets and the first scene take like 4 hours than the next one take 2.5 and finally about and hour.

However, you are more skilled in the art department. :)

This looks promising. I'm really curious how everything you've posted lately will come together.

Thanks, we have just recently got the CSM "kinda" working. With some tweaks we should have something really sexy to show off here shortly. I think once everybody sees the full game the way I have it envisioned they will be amazed.

I like this model because it is a general item and therefore can be reused for different things. Like it can be used as a bazar, or  plant holder all depending on what it is paired with.
