Hello! This is the first entry of my journal. This journal is all about the 3D first person shooter game i'm working on. At the moment I'm adding physics and collision. I've just got everything finished on graphics topic except character animation which is soon going to be added. I am using bullet physics for collision in my game. Here is a screenshot

interesting to see left handed instead of right handed holding.  looks pretty good=-)

Looks good. What are you doing for a character controller? I understand btKinematicCharacterController still has some issues when I last looked, and using a btRigidBody for the main character is a nightmare if your level has any slopes to walk on.

 

I got a btRigidBody working fine for a character controller as long as all my surfaces were flat though.

I'm still trying to get familiar with bullet and i dont't know about it very much. Anyways i'm using player as rigidbody just for testing and learning purpose.


@Slicer4ever: i didn't care about left or right handed but just adjusted it where it looked good.
