Minour updates

So I'm just going to show off some images of progression, actually its just a minor update as not much has changed, however my DOF is much better. And for some reason SSAO is bugged so its turned off. Also the sponza material file is bugged so I made a few changes.
- I had a sign error in the DOF testing, now its fixed, and the DOF is based on the "Skylanders DOF".
- The shadowing has also improved using better filtering.
- Now the engine has better support for specular maps.
- Displacement is working although is a Work In Progress.
I'm planning on making the GI work on a large scale. Using a cascaded approach.
EDIT: Forgot to disable debug mode, I promise that the fps is higher! tongue.png

I get tired of seeing the Sponza being used a lot in graphics demos :D But great work on the engine, the GI looks good. What am I looking at in the bottom screenshot? The texture effect looks like it was just rained down on.

Hehe, it is getting old. Bottom: A surface with high reflectance, reflecting the sorroundings. So it looks like it was rained upon :)

Nice, didn't notice the reflections until you mentioned them. I haven't gotten as far as adding GI or reflections in my graphics. But I'm gonna have to try the Skylanders DOF shader sometime.

I found the Skylanders DOF in Gpu Pro 4, actually really good book! And the best thing is that they release the source code!

I have to say, the DOF in that third picture looks pretty awful in my opinion, the blur is completely off, it honestly should look more like a progressive blur, in your picture it's like a smudge on top of the pixel perfect render. The reflections look pretty neat, though, it does look wet!
