Amazing Super HD Next Gen Graphics! Okay so the title might have lied a little. But now I have the spriting talents of a fellow gamedev member with me, I've been busy the last week or so adding features and bug-fixing and doing quite a few things.

Thus far I've redone the editor, map system, updated wall collisions, added doors and switches, a health system, a game over screen, the foundations of the magic/item system, and a new HUD.

More later! Full steam ahead!

Looks good so far :D Remembers me of my first game attempts, thought it was not HD ;-) Keep it up.

Good job! Misleading title...

LOL, yes very misleading title.

Looking good!

What's the 'tech' underneath? (programming language, gfx api, etc)?

I'm currently using Game Maker Studio. While it has its limitations, it's very quick and easy to develop in. For 2D games it can be very handy. I'm doing it all in code of course - it's been years since I used any of the drag-and-drop stuff.
