Treasure House Demo...Beta

Treasure House Demo

I finally have a demo done...sort of. I'm calling it a demo beta as the only the first scene for it is finished. I'll be adding more content (at least two more scenes), but I really want to show it off and get some feedback. Here is the download link: Download Treasure House Demo Beta.

If you have any issues/suggestions/comments/whatever whatsoever, please either post them here or via the site's contact form.

Hey there! I just tried the BETA, everything runs smoothly. Only suggestion I would give would be a way to cycle through dialog faster, via clicking as opposed to waiting on the timer, or just a (NEXT) button all together.

Looking good!!! Posted Image

Great, glad to hear it ran smoothly! Skipping dialogue is actually on my todo list, but I've been having a bit of a problem with it. I do all of the dialogue through scripting, coroutines, and tasks. I have them all available in code, but killing them doesn't seem to be working properly and it's kind of hard to debug lol.

Thanks for trying it and thanks for the input! I really appreciate it :)
No problem, keep working on this project! I miss the days of playing point and click adventure/mystery games!
All good stuff, works well here. Took me a while to figure out the holding down left mouse to get the menu up thingy, but very smooth and professional looking.

No worries there, this will be finished and soon (-ish; depends on art and music really heh.)

In the meantime, I highly recommend ClickShake Games games as well as Pastel Games games and Mateusz Skutnik games (especially Submachine and Covert Front) on Kongregate.

Thanks and thanks for trying it out. Cierra (my fiance) said that it was complicated, so I'm thinking about putting in a second mode, a "sticky" mode. Basically you'd click on the items and the menu would pop up so you could select a verb. The only issue at the moment is that I'd have to add a 4th verb icon for 'walk to' or something.

Thanks again guys! I really appreciate the comments and input!
