I was convinced that I was going to use C#, .NET 3.5 and ASP.NET to develop my game, but now I'm sort of reevaluating that decision. I was reading an interview with Guido van Rossum of Python fame and he mentioned a web application platform called Django
. I've always loved Python and have experimented with various frameworks without being too impressed. Well, so far Django is tops. I really like what I'm seeing. I think they've done a good job of creating well defined separations between the model, view and controller. I intend to learn the Django framework well enough to determine whether it's the best option. I really hope so.
