Awesome job so far everyone! Please give us your feedback on how our article efforts are going. We still need more finished articles for our May contest theme: Remake the Classics

You wish, but you don't have the cahones

I went from -2 to -33 from a single post.
Well on track for my -666 !!!

In the meanwhile I've been quite busy, working on commercial projects.
I bet the people who voted me down have not even got a job in the industry !!
Vote me down more!! I need to reach my goal!

I'll stand up and say that I'm one of the people who voted you down. I'm not employed in the video game industry, but I have also have no interest in pursuing that path. I do earn a substantial portion of my income doing freelance computer programming. I happen to know that some of the other people who voted you down are industry professionals, and that others are non-games-industry IT professionals like myself, but it isn't my place to say who they are or publish their credentials. That's not really important though -- it doesn't matter if the people who voted you down aren't professional, and it doesn't matter if you are; people will vote you down if they think you're rude or unhelpful, and even the most experienced professional in the world doesn't get away with being unhelpful jerk.

I already said it on your last entry, but my personal reasons for voting you down were because a) you were rude and b) you were unhelpful. Nothing about the votes you received seems unfair to me, and in all your ranting on your last journal entry you never said anything to refute that.

Congratulations on your commercial projects, it's awesome that you're apparently having some success!
That being said, you're acting like a little kid throwing a tantrum, and your behaviour here is pretty sad.

Grow up.
Cool story, bro.
Oh, that's what you meant with -666!<br>
at least you stick to what you say right?

Thanks for your mini-rant. You took the time to notice there is a problem here. I'm not wasting another moment on this, I have paid work to do.

If anyone wants to take me to task for my posts, or ask what I would have done differently, seek me out.

now you're one more closer... I usually wouldn't but you seemed to want it.

on a side note, how do you "take someone to task for their post"?
Oh man, can't believe you've now posted twice about this? Brilliant :)
