The Bard, The Alchemist, and The Warrior of Crockery posted 3/24 at 2:30:54 PM PST by TANSTAAFL

This evening, I went to the Farimont hotel to a little party where they purported to be playing board games. After half an hour of driving around San Jose with a couple of Oklahomans (DavidRM and his art dude Kenneth), we finally wound up where we were supposed to be. The room was nearly empty. There were a few dudes playing Fastfood franchise and a stack of checker boards on one of the tables (in other words, it didnt look good).
So, anyway, I started up a little mini-RPG based on a subset of GURPS rules. It was pretty cool. Trees burned and zombies died(again).

The name of the tutorial I went to today was Touchpoints of Design, with the speaker Paul Shuytema of Magic Lantern. This is not the first lecture of Paul's that I have attended, and while he did do some of the same stuff as earlier lectures (one I went to was the Chicago GDC RoadTrip and another was last year's GDC). Oh, and HE STOLE MY DARTBOARD IDEA! here

This is what the front of the building looked like at 6:15AM on Tuesday morning. Sorry for the delay, we were having technical difficulties.
