Graft Grab/Trick or Treat Day posted 3/23 at 9:24:32 AM PST by TANSTAAFL

Normally, this is John Hattan's job, but in his absence, I went trick or treating. No, really... I actually went up to the booths and held out my bag and said "Trick or treat!" Believe it or not, I *DID* get quite a bit of candy, and no apples with razor blades in them.

Less Graft, More Candy! posted 3/22 at 12:48:56 PM PST by Mason McCuskey

There's definitely less graft to be had this year. Maybe the exhibitors are stashing it all in preparation for the booth crawl later tonight, but as of right now you certainly have to hunt for the t-shirts and business card holders.

There is, however, more candy.

Ye Olde Bag posted 3/22 at 8:47:00 AM PST by Dave Astle

The contents of the bag given to attendees this year were pretty standard fare, with plenty of ads, conference guides, and a pen (XBox, of course). One nice change, though, is that the conference proceedings are now on CD.

There was also some kind of energy drink in a grenade shaped bottle (I would have loved to try to take one of those on the plane, but TAN drank mine and his).
