Well, done, great stuff!

How realistic is the physics being applied to the robot and how extensive is the information the algorithms receive?

What I mean is, does it compute it's reaction based on just the forces on it's joints and bones or does it also receive some external information from the engine?

How well would it do if you tried to use it to control a real life bipedal robot?


Again, well done. If I owned an iPhone I would have certainly bought your game.

It's completely custom but realistic physics with a custom integrator we have. The model doesn't get any information apart from the forces being applied to its joints. As for a real robot, it's not clear yet...there's a professor here who's interested, so we'll see what happens.

What you're watching is a very old demo, and the current version is much nicer -- but there's still a lot of work to do. We're going to spend time really refining it before actually trying to shop it around to people.
