| Ok, apparently FYAD is in some way related to Something Awful, but for the life of me I cannot find it anywhere. Is it one of the forums? I am not a registered member, but I lurk there quite often (in the General Bullshit forum), and I have never seen it listed anywhere, yet I see SA posts talking about it all the time! This is driving me insane! |

| FYAD (Fck You And Die) is a sub-forum of the Something Awful forums, visible only to registered members. It is notable for being the most polarising forum on Something Awful, with responses ranging from intense dislike to fawning admiration (both of which FYAD ‘regulars’ play on in the forum’s content). While FYAD posters account for the former reaction as a consequence of not ‘getting’ FYAD, definitions are paradoxically seen as pointless. In very broad terms though, the forum seeks to mock essentially every populist trend on the internet, particularly forum users. This is achieved by assimilating their speech and methods and pushing them to often ridiculous extremes. | Its like a subforum, where the lowest of the low hang out and be extra nasty, and they load up their Asshole tourbusses and infiltrate other peopels websites and chatrooms and give them endless amounts of shit re: whatever the focus of the community is, and then tell them to stop taking it so seriously because its the internet lolz. At least, thats my experience with them. Those that I know who actually subscribe to SA tell me that they're really a bunch of okay guys, but then I end up being in the wrong place at the wrong time when the jackbooted SA "goons" show up and start calling everyone f*gs....so...yeah. |

| Sweet, thanks for settling that. By the way, I searched for it for quite a while (including checking out the Wiki definition), but I must have missed the line "visible only to registered members" because that was my main question/concern. |
