Pokémňn Virtual Pet It's not an official 3D mobile game! It's only a test for my thesis at university of Milan - Bicocca. It works with OpenGL ES, a full coded skeletal animation, has a working menu, and stats page. I've developed it in three months, without knowing anything of mobile programming before, in C++ for Nokia Series60 devices. For download it and some other video and images look at my website: GENTS GAME DEVELOPMENT in "Progetti"/"SymbianOS" section... ----------------------------------------------- - GENTS - "Every man dies, not every man really lives" [William Wallace] - visit my website: GENTS.it - - Using Effect files with DirectX 9 Basics Tutorial - - MilkShape 3D models and OpenGL ES Tutorial - |

| Your screen shots would look better if you cropped the extraneous stuff. Even if you just set your background to black, it would help focus the attention on your game instead of your desktop. |

| This is the simplest AI system! It's a sequence of if-then-else, that exstabilish what the Pet have to do... | Great work. Now, if you could only strike a deal with a cellphone company to provide a free cell with each game sold, your future is guaranteed. Imagine all the little children that love pokemon. You would have to hurry up though, before Nintendo steals your idea ;) Darkneon |

| He'd have to work out a deal with Nintendo first, as Pokemon and all of the character names are trademarked. Toolmaker |

| The idea is to create a Virtual Pet 3D game without using Pokemon as character... Thanks for replies!!! | Hey Gents, looks very cool, but as others said, it might look better if you'd cropped your images. BTW, the DXSAS info in your sig is pretty useful. Thanks for that. ![]() |
