Looks awsome! Reminds me of RE series

I love it.

My biggest suggestion is to have gamma/contrast/brightness adjustment. I know it's supposed to be dark, but on my old CRT monitor its very dark. On most games with the text that fades to black (usually three/four different levels) I can only see the brightest one by default.

Darn it, my laptop doesn't handle it. I can use the menu (wonderful menu music btw) and see the intro, but as soon as the first frame is drawn, it locks up. I have a 1.3 GHz, 512 MB RAM, Integrated Intel 915GM Graphics.

It's a shame I can't play this, cause I really want to try this one out. Judging from menu and intro and movies, this game appears to be really awesome!

That looks awesome! I wish my computer could run this! Cause wow...that is just plain SWEET! It does give me the horror feel also, which lots of screenshots/games can't do that to me. Keep up the good work!

ARG!!! I want to play this game! lol.

Looks awesome, and plays quite nice, but runs like frozen mud on my Geforce FX 5500. Also the shadows are completely dark which makes it difficult to see the contents of the lockers at the start without any light tool.

But a job well done.

Wow! This game is awesome!
Is it going to be sold or free?

Really great looking game !

I've downloaded the demo and it runs at acceptable speed on my AthlonXP 1900+/FX5700 256Mb.

I couldn't turn the lights back on, what's the secret? Also, I couldn't destroy the lock to open the locker. Is it even possible?

The physics is fenomenal, really well done. My only issue is with the interact toggle. Perhaps after you interact with something, it should revert back to action mode, not need another right click.

Also, I've loaded the game from my last save and clickin on the first key pad firstly reloads the very first chamber, then it reloads the corridor after the first chamber. I've had to exit the game and start again a few times as I couldn't experiment with the dynamite. You should put more than one dynamite or allow the player to quicksave at any given point (I'm sure you are going to, as this is a demo).

I am really impressed with it, keep up the good work!

Some hints:

When the lights go out you need to get the door open at the end of the corridor. To do this you need to find a metal bar, you can find this lying on a box. When you enter the generator room you need to find some fuel and a hose.

GUI hint:

To actually use items from the inventory outside you have to put them in the 1,2,3,4,5 slots. Close the inventory screen and then press the corresponding key to use the item with something in the world.

This took me some trying as i think there was no readme about this.

I'm really getting into this game. What a great accomplishment. I wish I could work on something this awesome in my lifetime.

The puzzles aren't too difficult, which keeps me from getting discouraged.

I would recommend enabling anonymous posting on your forums so people like me can drop by and ask for hints! That way they can play the whole game

So thats how it goes.. heh

I now only wish I didn't get lost in the air vents.
And that I could open the doors more easily and close them,
especially when chased by Mr. Ugly Fly.

About that, is he supposed to be able to bring down the door that
is opened with the broken key?

'Cause I trapped it in the corridor and put a box in front of the door,
but after me making some noise, the door went down..

And I couldn't escape from the room as I couldn't jump over the door/box combo.

So, perhaps you could decrease the realism a bit on door opening/closing,
might help the gameplay a bit, at least for paniking gamers...

All and all, great job! I can hardly wait to see the finished Penumbra!

Runs smooth on a AMD64x2 4400++, Geforce 7800GT.
It really is almost like a resident evil game. I realy enjoyed the gameplay.
Polished up a bit, this could be commercial material.
