| Team name: "The Team of Playtesters Who Tested HamQuest: The Porkseeker Saga, Chapter I" Project name: HamQuest: The Porkseeker Saga, Chapter I Brief description: HamQuest is a rogue-alike based quite a bit on an old boardgame called HeroQuest. The main similarities are the game mechanics and current creature list. Target aim: HamQuest is free. Compensation: Satisfaction of a job well done, the enjoyment of playing a rogue-alike, and a mention in the credits. Technology: The game was written in C#, using Visual C# 2005 Express. As a playtester, you will need a machine that will run the game, mainly any box that runs .NET 2.0. Talent needed: I need playtesters, and lots of them. The problem at this point isn't making features work, it is balancing the game so that it is challenging, as well as determining what the documentation/help file should say. Certainly, enhancements to new functionality or even new functionality may be needed, but at this point, I need as many people hammering on it as I can find. Team structure: Me (Ernest Pazera) - Developer EJMooney - Tester Website: http://www.assembla.com/spaces/Dungeon_Delver/ i have opened up the assembla space for anyone to join, so you don't have to message me or anything if you want to get started. simply join the assembla space, download the game from the Files section (it's in a rar file stamped with a date), and start putting in tickets or writing messages in the appropriate sections of the assembla space. Contacts: ernestpazera@gmail.com ernestpazera@hotmail.com pm me here put a message on the assembla space Previous Work by Team: http://www.playdeez.com Additional Info: It'll be fun. Feedback: ANY |
