A new blog for absolute beginners
Post New Topic  Post Reply
Hi guys,

I've started writing a blog for absolute beginners in game programming.

It's initially going to cover how to make a simple 2D game in XNA and move on gradually to more advanced topics.

I think this will help offer a structure for those who are just looking at games programming which can sometimes be a difficult field for beginners to know where to start.

The plan is to cover simple basic game related areas of programming, software engineering and good practice as well as give beginners solid results with games to actually run on their PCs.

Once they have a decent foothold they will know if a software engineering degree or a career in games is something they would like to pursue.

You can find the blog at http://www.begingameprogramming.com
