We would like everyone who reads this to check out the Help Topics page and look through the various content available. We're getting some basic usage questions from people and these topics contain information that will get everyone better acquainted with the board software, posting guidelines and other things. Anything people ask that aren't included in the help files I will include below, including new stuff we add to the forums.

Rollup BBCode tag for renaming Spoiler boxes

You can now create Spoiler boxes to hide text but call them whatever you want using the Rollup tag. See this post for an example and more information on usage.

Jumping to first unread post

With topic read tracking enabled across the forums, you no longer have to remember to hit "Mark forum read" before moving on - once you jump into a thread the board will know you've seen it so when you next return to the site it will remember the last post you viewed. To jump to the newest post since your last visit, click on the folder icon on the left of the thread in the topic list.

Recovering lost post content

The new text editor has an auto-save feature for forum posts, you'll see text at the bottom of the post window noting the last auto-save. If your page reloads for some reason you must click on this text at the bottom to pop up a window containing your auto-saved content. You can then choose to restore this content to the post editor.

Selective Quoting

If you only want to respond to a section of a post, you can highlight it and press the "Selective Quote" button to add it to the Reply box at the bottom of the page. You can do this multiple times and each highlighted text segment will be sequentially added to the Reply box
