A remake of Rockland Software's Armies of Steel realtime wargame from the early 90's.This new version will have 3d graphics. A pickray routine is the only unusual code required, and has already been implemented in a test routine which can be run from the game's main menu.For now, for game balancing and internal testing and development, the game uses 2d placeholder graphics.The game includes built-in campaign, mission, map, and order of battle editors.Three to Five campaigns of at least 20 missions each are planned.Right now, i find balancing the missions somewhat difficult, and the game also seems to be lacking something - perhaps fog of war. So gameplay wise its not where i want it to be yet.
