Awesome job so far everyone! Please give us your feedback on how our article efforts are going. We still need more finished articles for our May contest theme: Remake the Classics

You would need to post this sort of request in our "Classifieds" system (reachable from the top navigation bar of the site)... but unfortunately for you we won't be able to allow it unless you change your idea, due to the following:

Due to copyright infringement, we can not legally sell the game, therefore we can not offer pay.

Copyright laws don't just stop you from selling a game based on someone else's idea, they stop you from making distributing one.  Even if you don't make any money, your game would still be a breach of Nintendo's copyrights (and Trademarks!), and if your project comes to their attention they're quite likely to issue you with a cease and desist notice and/or take you to court.  Because of this we have a blanket policy of not allowing the posting of projects which we know infringe upon existing intellectual property, and even before that policy came into effect we had a blanket request from Nintendo to not allow any projects infringing upon their property.

If you want to make such a project you won't be able to advertise looking for help here -- I would strongly suggest simply dropping all the "Zelda" elements and making your own game instead -- it would be very disappointing for you to put lots of work into a project only to have it stopped at a later stage.

: Corrected terminology.
