A few of my friends and I are intereseted in making our own small game. Each of us is rather newbish to the game design world. I know an MMO takes lots of money and a team of trained proffesionals to come into reality. Even so I do want to learn with an engine that has the ability. We would like to use C# as our language, but  there doesn't seem to be many engines available for this language. The few I have looked at have negative reviews or are ports that can't compete with the current C++ engines. If you guys could recommmend a few that are steadily improving or look promising with reasonable license fees for hobby possibly indie purposes, that would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.
