Without wanting to derail too much, it's not a case of taking reservation at all; use of the word "windoze" is not bad spelling (if it was just that I would have quite happily ignored it), it's blatant and well-known flamebait (analogous to "weenix-loonies" but coming from the other direction, and I'm certain that the OP is familiar with it's use in the Jargon File) and has no place in a discussion that has aspirations of being taken seriously. To clarify - this is not about the OS, this is not about "my OS is better than your OS", this is about the use of flamebait.
