Never mind. NetBeans is garbage and I'll never install it to my HDD again. Who creates an IDE that can delete files from your HDD?

Netbeans imported a bunch of stuff and I was removing it from the project unknowingly deleting it PERMANENTLY from my hdd. 30 C++ projects created over 10 years ago gone forever.
EDIT: had to use HDD recovery software just to get it back.
Thinking I should just uninstall NetBeans and accept this as a almost biggest loss all at once occasion. Would have quit programming all together had those files not been able to be recovered.
