Hum. I thought that 10k simple spaceships fit in RAM quite well. It feels like the wrong test to showcase your database, because if you wanted to make a game like this, you would not even consider persisting changes to database on every simulation step. That's what my game-making brain tells me.

Impressive number of updates though.
