Thanks everyone, especially

GuardianX

for summing it all up in form of a fresh-full-like answer. It is amazing how little things are important to start the big journey, yet what seems little to some has great influence on others.

confused about "June DirectX" vs "Windows 8 SDK".

P.S. Well, now random crap I wrote for registration worked... maybe I just didn't wrote the right crap last time or something.

I am sorry to be "ignoring" (not really ignoring just in the state on confusion) about The DirectX June edition I am being linked to and this one: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/desktop/aa904949 ... Yes, it might be included in Windows 8 but I'm on Windows 7 and unsure whether to get that "Windows 8 SDK" which includes DirectX (newer ?) or download that June DirectX everyone else is linking to (older ?)...

Will "Windows SDK 8" work on WIndows 7 ?... Which one should I get ?... Why ?...the latest works on DirectX9 with new features disabled?...What features will I actually need?...is it worth getting the newest?...what about plans for the future, isn't newest better than the old June one which seems to be dropped support for ?... Am I asking too many question ?... help X_X

GurdianX wrote about updates included in Windows 8 SDK right ?
