Until i can play a game completely virtualised in my mind (using electrodes or something), i won't be satisfied!

With augmented reality, it will become increasingly possible to take actual display of a real environment and interact with the image on your screen.  Companies are working on more efficient ways to "scan" the real world data into a game.   It may become possible and common for AR games to have only a fraction of the content be virtual and most of it AR.

Entering your actual brain to work in your mind is a long way in the future, in my opinion.
