Other Ocean Interactive has an exciting employment opportunity for a talented Artist with 2 years or more of full time industry or related experience. An educational background in art and design will be considered an asset. Previous work in children's entertainment, edutainment, or related experience is desired. Experience with user interface design and implementation is required. Join our team in developing the latest in Nintendo DS, Wii, LeapFrog Handheld, XBOX 360, iPhone, iPad titles, and more.

Candidates must have experience with:

  • 3D polygon modeling
  • UV texture mapping
  • Maya
  • Photoshop
  • Graphic Design / Interface Design
Other desirable skills include:

  • 3D rigging and character animation
  • Sprite / Pixel creation and animation
  • 2D animation
  • Conceptual art
We try to accommodate each artist’s chosen specialty whenever possible, and we give everyone the opportunity to try new aspects of art production as much as we can. Our artists tend to have an interest in the design of games, and will often be involved in level design and game design.

Email attachments of images, demo reels, or work samples are not accepted as we have limited space on our server. In the skills section of your resume, please indicate which 3D and 2D software you are trained in, and indicate your level of proficiency for each. Also indicate if you possess drawing and animation traditional skills. Low poly models and textures are the main style we like to see samples of for 3D art. Please do not send original samples, as they will not be returned.
