Game Developer Lead

Are you passionate about video games? Do you want to keep progressing in an exciting, young and dynamic environment? Gameloft is currently seeking a game developer lead to manage talented client/server developer teams who will develop AAA games for iPhone/iPad, downloadable consoles, and Facebook.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Support developer team leads to determine tasks and schedule requirements
  • Review constantly the game code quality, the technical documentations and development process
  • Improve/debug in-house game 3D engine technology and tools
  • Participate in programming activities in various places in the code base
  • Organize seminars and workshops to extend developer skills
  • Anticipate recruitment needs of developers and participate in the recruitment process
  • Collaborate closely with headquarter developer leads to set and maintain quality standards
Skills and Profile

  • Efficient English communication skill
  • University degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Above 6 years of experiences
  • Excellent with C/C++ and C# languages
  • Extensive experience of 3D engine
  • Knowledge and correct use of game algorithm
  • Ability to optimize code size and speed
  • In-depth knowledge of gaming culture
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Experience on Wii, DS, PSP, Xbox Live Arcade, PC platforms an asset
