yah. I''d appreciate it if a few of you would test this out for me... I need an idea of the frame rate this runs on on the average system, as time has shown that my system isn''t really average... This is the lighting ''engine'' for a space sim I''m working on (this is a seperate project)... it''s set to 4 lights with shadowing.. so fillrate is punished fairly bad.. In the past I''ve set my PC as target hardware, (geforce 1, 533 P3) but that hasn''t always worked out right. I need a comparison between the rate I get (75fps) and the average gamer.. :-) (it reports the fps average when you quit) shadow test note it will need a stencil buffer supporting card. (which will NOT be required in the final game) this is mostly so I can decide now what sorts of limits I place on ambient/local lighting, etc. thanks;
