MD2 vs MD3
Well, which is better to use? I would assume MD3 is better because 3 is bigger than 2 but that doesn't mean much.

MD3 has bone information along with model linking information, that is why in q3 there are multiple model files for one "model"

MD2 sucks (too many limitations). I tried it and ended up going to 3DS models instead. MD2 is good for a beginner though because it is fairly simple compared to alot of other 3D formats. There is alot of documentation about it on the web too. If you go with MD3 your models will look nicer and have less limitations but be ready for some headaches if your new to programming.
