Quick FpS

1000 / ( cur - last ) = FPS right?

Yes it is, if cur and last are in milliseconds of course, but you knew.

But this will "jump around" I think.... maybe you should take the average of thr FPS over the last x frames.... that'll look better.

FPS = (10.0f*FPS + 1000.0f/(cur-last)) / (float)11.0f
