I''m in the process of designing a 3D engine with OpenGL for BeOS and Windows.
I''m looking for procedurals textures, which are great stuff (very nice for 3d textures [solid texturing]).
But I don''t know how to access a surface texture or to do to build my procedurals textures.
Do I have to create a BMP and pass it to OpenGL or can I do it with OpenGL directly ?
