Visual C++ stupid question
I know this may sound dumb but remember I'm new.
I have been looking around to buy the Microsoft Visual C++
compiler, but am confused by the names. I've heard of
Visual C++, and Visual C++.NET.
Are they the same thing?
Which is the one to buy?
I'm confused.. help

i know, i tryed to find them on the net, but i need to sift though all the crap, i find the lowest price on pricewach, and it turns out to be oem, or standerd, and i want the pro, i mean come on, can bill gates let us have just a standerd and pro, y all this other crap,
Visual C++.NET is the latest VC++. It features .NET but it can also compile unmanaged code. If you are buying Visual C++ you''re probally going to get VC++6.
