Any Game Writers/Designers?

Hi.
I, like many others on the GDnet have an idea for a game (See my post "Pirates! meets Subspace" in the Help wanted section).
As this seems to be the forum for writers and designers, I am posting here to see if there are any who would like to help take my idea a bit further. While I have many ideas for the game, I think that there are people who could help me flesh my ideas out with some solid plots, themes and models (economic and political). As this game is not going to focus on straight shoot-em-up, some plot designs would help immensely.

If the latter is true, it shouldn''t be too hard to find help.
If the former is true, you will have a great deal of trouble enlisting help without money or proof of past success. Asking for free development help on GDNet seems to be like asking for free money.

Forgot to mention that, Landfish.
I am a coder. I already have a prototype game on the way. At the moment, tho', it is severely lacking in the plot area. Looking for some creative designers/writers to add some ideas.

I noticed in one of your other posts, you mention that your from Brisbane - So am I (Wynnum).
I''d be interested in helping you out, I work full-time as a game tester/designer at the moment, but I''ve only just broken into this area and currently are only working on Casino type games. My main passion is RPG''s, but the Pirates style of games is also a favourite (though I am ashamed to say that I never actually played Pirates itself).
Anyway, let me know what you need done and we''ll try and find some time to get things moving

if you''re looking for a free writer/designer. i''ll happily do that. i''m very good at writing and love to design. playing is just a reason to learn from others. to tap into other techniques so to speak. i would love to help you with an writing or design ideas that you might like. i''m not a coder (they come a dime a dozen). i like to design, and write. Besides eating and sleeping, that''s all i think about. as you have noticed all ready is that i have a habit of being drawnout and long winded. as far as i''m concerned, i think that just adds to my piont.
