I have loads of ideas the majority of which stem from reading lots of manga and watching anime. Highly recommended
since theres loads more going on than in more mainstream superhero bull comics and animation. Would love to make a game based on The Guyver. Have some cool ideas for on or two non-violent games that could work well, but have to hold them back from your eyes.
At the moment working on designs for a 2d shooter
anime style. If you''ve played SNES U.N Squadron you''ll know what I mean and what I dig.
Iceblade
Game ideas (hey, those are always fun to talk about :)
warhammer 40k?
Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate
Warhammer 40K: Elder something-or-other
You should look harder

WH40K Chaos Gate is almost exactly what you are describing, but it''s a bit limited cos you can only play as Ultra Marines or Chaos Marines(multiplayer)
It would be cool to do a FULL WH40K game with all the orcs stuff, and eldar and imperial guard nonsense.
Rites of War (or whatever) was pants but chaos gate is good...
extensions to this would be cool...

So in ChaosGate, do you move your characters over "tiles" or "hexas", or is the movement "free" (read, inside circular area, so that you can step for any pixel)?
I did read about chaosgate, and only reason why I didn''t buy it was that I play WH40k, and I was thinking that ChaosGate is "too simple"
I would love to see WH40k TABLEVERSION on computer, as whole thing. It would be so cool
It wouldn''t need even computer to play against, juts internet / lan playing.

Yeah the whole 40K universe stuff would be cool...
Even stuff like combining in Epic with all the big vehicles and the 40k ground units and all the extra stuff that''s around...
free movement like in say C&C?
that would be do-able...

Actually C&C uses small grid system... You cannot set your unit on exact pixel (this is because of canyons and so on, but the grid is pretty small, maybe 5x5?). Anyway, I''m talking about simulating WH40k rules on computer screen, and simulating inches on computer screen
sorry, but what is a computer screen made up of?
Pixels
and what are pixels?
tiny squares...
so the only way to do it is by using a grod, albeit a very small grid

You can go to a deeper detail level than per-pixel, but you still need a minimum step size, so some sort of grid-like structure.
