I am having a bit of a dilema. I have started to learn blender and I like it pretty well. Is it good enough, or do I need to buy a program that is more flexable? And if their are any better programs, what are they and what are their cost? Thanks!

You could try milkshape, thats about $20 I think. gMax might do what you want, but there are restrictions on use.

For any higher-end packages (3ds max, maya etc) you are talking several thousand pounds/dollars.
