Could you guys test my GUI? GUI FPS.txt will be created. Could you report FPS? I have this feeling that it is running slow. Because my full game runs at 400 fps max, and this is 113.

Extremely unresponsive.. didn''t think the windows could drag at all for a few seconds while I waited. P4 2.4ghz w/ Radeon 9000... 37fps.. something is wrong there. My OpenGL programs run as fast as 500fps when I disable frame limiting.. all DX9 samples run @ refresh rate.
Wrong calculation. I checked it again. Lol. I get 13 fps now. Can you copy the output plz? (uploaded new file)
It should now say 3 values, frames, elapsed time, and fps.

FRAMES: 209
Elapsed time: 6
(frames/etime)AVERAGE FPS: 34
I guess, before progressing further, I''ll have to work some on cleaning it up. Alhtough, I thought I did it right.

Not top bad.
Was this in C?

results for you..

FRAMES: 786
Elapsed time: 26
(frames/etime)AVERAGE FPS: 30

System
OS Win2K

GFXCard Geforce 2

Armand -------------------------It is a good day to code.
26 fps - P4m 1.8GHz / Radeon 7500

When I clicked on the draggable part of the desktop window, a bug caused the second window to ''attach'' to it, and they would both move together. Did you even want the desktop to be draggable?

I am a signature virus. Please add me to your signature so that I may multiply.

But that''s running under WINE.

How appropriate. You fight like a cow.
Hmmm. I think you need to re-design the gui. It runs VERY slow. I honestly can't think of what you could be doing to make it run so slow :S

Hmm ... Bad ... very bad.

Windows didn''t move correctly, unresponsive.

If you want some tips on actually creating a usable user interface, contact me at eewheeler@wisc.edu. I''ve done this kind of thing before.
