try/catch
You know, I never really used to use try/catch statements until today.... Boy was I stupid. I love em.
hmm, useless post. oh well.
ao
Um, can we please stop post like these?
It is annoying to open up a post and see declaritive statements with no purpose.
"I like red, it is a cool color." or "I have used the number 5 so many times in my life." is not something you should post.
Please, use the posts to ask a question, or post source, or something usefull, i beg you.

Well, I don''t mind posts like this.
I don''t use try catches either but I might after reading this.
Although you could have said something about it in the topic.

ImmaGNUman,
I was wondering if you could write a list of standards that I may follow for posting.
subject: try/catch - programming related? Is it not?

Whats the problem? ( Please respond ASAP with the answer, I hope it''s long because I probably won''t read it )

In order to make this thread somewhat useful, how about I give y''all a pointer to here:
http://www.peerdirect.com/resources/gotw.html
It''s a link to Guru of the Week, a sometimes intense in-depth look into what makes C++ tick and how to use it wisely. Scroll down to early issues and you''ll see some great insights into exception handling.
