I like the idea alot. It seems like all the RPG''s out there aim for the mark, but miss it by a bit. Alot of this is probably due to technology, but still, we seem to finally be getting to where we can create a true RPG. I also agree with you 100% on the idea of real-time weather. I have always believed that weather adds an incerdible amount of realism to a game. I''ve always had friends who said "Weather? So what?" and yet you notice that it adds a whole new experience to a world. I mean, who has not sat outside in eager anticipation of an approaching thunderstorm and not felt invigorated by it? You make the game you speak of, and you will have a TRUE RPG. And I hope to heck that''s the direction we''re heading.

Oops! Heheh. This was supposed to be a response to the post "An Online RPG". Sorry bout that.
Nice, but in order to be a "true" Role-playing game you would NEED to PLAY within a ROLE. Now, you can make games that would do that, but nobody would call the RPGs, because they would be very different from what RPGs are now, which really aren''t RPGs at all.

There are a great deal of posts in this forum that I feel could lead to something resembling this "true" roleplaying idea. I am certainly not behind most of them, either, though I would love to claim that I am. Everyone seems to be frustrated with the way things are presently, if not as anarchist as I am. You WILL seem this dream eventually, man.

Until then, read and contribute. Because this site rules! =)
