Okay, my other computer is messed up so I''m using my laptop. On my other computer a have VC++ and to find the square root of something I simply use variable ^ .5 However, on the computer I''m using I have an old Borland Version and I get the error "Illegal use of floating point". Anybody got any ideas on how to fix this?

Stupid me. Wrong forum first of all and I did find the answer. If you care it was simply variable ^ (1/2).
