Array Compiler Indexing Error
This is strange.
Usually, when an application is ran from the Visual Basic environment, the run-time debugger picks up all invalid indexing errors.
Sure that the program does not make invalid indexing error (since the runtime compiler picked up no instance of such), I compiled it into an exe and deactivated the indexing verifier option (to speed up the app). But, when I ran the program, it crashed. Recompiling in an exe with the indexing verifier option activated made the program work. When I run in the environment, VB runtime debugger does not pick up any invalid indexing operations.
Why does the program crash when compiled without the indexing verifier option when the VB environment does not tell me I am making range bound errors?
Thanks
Jonathan
