why do people always want something in return? its supposed to be fun! its only a "code of the week" not "show us your half-life 2 type game". i really think this contest its a great ideia and be sure ill try to post something there..all weeks (or as many as i can)

Hey a2ps,
Thanks alot for the positive feedback and for your participance in this contest. It means alot to see someone who understands the attempt to starting contest. We weren't sure if people would be interested so we didnt want to fork out to much money in prizes that will never be awarded. Maybe some day there will be a contest, but not a weekly thing. Maybe like a quarterly or the best game/application of the year or something, We still dont know, yet... Thanks again a2ps, and we'll see you around =)
Plus, in my perception, its actually quite fair enough that you get your code on the front page of BlueDev Studios for a week. Plus the forums will keep each Weeks submissions, comments, and winners so you'll never be forgotten. Enjoy!
Please feel free to join our chat room, including a built-in chat applet on the site. Just click on the Chat button, type in your nickname, and connect. Im usually in there from 1:30 pm - 8:30 pm PST so feel free to stop by.

So I''m guessing the code will be saved like the articles here, for people to use, right? That sounds cool.
Sorry for the pun, but it is irresistible. I thought your subject was: Code of the Weak Contest

Hi Stan100,
Sorry for all the confusion on my dialogue. The point I was trying to get across is that you may participate in the Contest which takes place weekly... "Including" the winners code is put on the front page of BDS*, and is filed away. Simply meaning the Winner's code and other information will still be held on, for instance, Week 1's topic (in the forum) but will be closed after that Week has passed.
Of course the last week's winner gets their code replaced with the new winner of the next week on the BDS* page, but last week's info will always be on the Forums.
Simply saying that if you win for Week 3, the topic will be closed, but people can still view it and know who won that week. I hope that clears some things up.

Hi all,
I have changed the schedule around, and the Contest will be held monthly.
It is still being held at the same location, just updated information. Code of the Month Contest
edit: Also feel free to leave a vote in the Poll pertaining to what the contest schedule should be. Thank you.

Hello,
I would like peoples opinions on this. At the moment the contest takes place Monthly as you should know and you, the programmer, gets to submit his/her own code/snippet to the Month (n) Submissions, for n equals the current contest's month...
Should the Contest have a program goal each month of some sort where there is this project and/or the alike to see who writes it most effiecently or should it be like, as it is now, free-choice submissions where you get to submit any code as you like?
