I''m nearing the end of my project and am trying to gather as much information as possible for the next stage of my game: selling it. Maybe someone here can help me out. Is anyone here actually selling their game(s)? If so, who''s the distributor/publisher, and what has you experience been like dealing with them? What was the QA process like? Did you insist that the publisher sign a non-disclosure? If not, why? If so, what was the response. How do you find you are treated? Which distributors have the best market penetration in Europe? Which have the best in N. America? What is normal for the publishers cut of sales? Any hidden costs? Is your game published in different languages? If so, did the publisher give you a break down of what languages they wanted supported, or was this up to you? Has anybody had any experience with Jamdat or DBI? Any feedback would be appreciated. For DBI have a look at : http://www.digitalbridges.com/en/dbidistribution.jsp
I don''t know about the revenue breakdown, I think that is on a case-by-case basis.
Languages are normally specified by the publisher, i.e. their customers tell them which languages they want.
There is nothing stopping you selling to multiple publishers.
Hi!

Look at http://wgamer.com/forum - the Hash forum.
