Hey; This lecture series is taking place on Friday, Feb 6th at Stanford. I''m probably going, unless there is a rediculous doorcharge, but they are not announcing it in this ad: Ad It looks really good as a lecture series, and there might be opportunity to network with some of the people giving lectures, which there usually is at these types of functions. I''m gonna call and find out if there is attendance fees, and, if not, or not rediculously priced, I can take one person with me (you buy your own ticket and lunch) that day. I am in the San Francisco East Bay area, and can rendevous or pickup somebody who wants to go along. I plan to spend the whole day there on the campus, and come right back to the east bay afterwards because of work Friday Night. Dave, if you want me to cover this for Gamedev.net, I''ll need you to mail me a press pass. Adventuredesign

This is ridiculously cool. I''d seen ads for similar things before (when I was at UNC Greensboro) but they featured more "traditional" academics, boring premises that failed to convey that they understood the premises of games and an excessive focus on AI techniques for "automatic story generation."

Unfortunately, I''m in New York and there''s no way I could make it out to the Bay then... Let us know how it goes!
