Unfortunately there are no such library for the Borland compilers yet. Hopefully Microsoft will realize their mistake for DX8 and make one.

I was on the DX7 beta and tried to get Borland and MS to communicate on this issue. It is really Borland''s responsibility to get this done. I realize that D3DX is implemented as a static library, but Borland has a partnership agreement with MS and if they cared about this issue even a little they would talk to MS. It is easy to blame MS, but there are good (very good) reasons for D3DX being static. I recommend you complain to Borland that they dropped the ball on this one. I am a loyal Borland compiler user. I have used every version of Delphi since version 1.
