I want to create a small software that can download big files from internet with start and stop function, like GetRight or similar I know how to write a small software that can download a single file from a server but I don''t know how I should do when I want to continue on a file that has not been finished downloaded yet?

Either search and use code that''s already available for that, or start studying the FTP and/or HTTP protocol.....
