I''m so glad Valve has finally started to get things done with their PowerPlay protocols that help streamline game data through ISP servers. This will loosen the bottleneck that badgers all 56k modem users (like I) still stuck in the Dark Age. The best thing about it is that its at the ISP level so I don''t think you have to code for it at all, I''m pretty sure. Who else has heard of PowerPlay? All the newsites/mags covered it, so I assume plenty of people. Well, I heard about that two months ago I think, in a French mag.
Since then I didn''t here anything, but I hope it''s gonna work !
Anything that would allow me to play a game on my modem is a Good Thing (tm).
In the mean time, let''s keep praying.
