Hi. We are creating a MMORPG. It will be text-based and will be able to support thousands of users. We are creating a proof of concept in Java, with the understanding it may be re-written in C++ (or at least portions). It will not be your typical text-based MUD but will be much more involved. I am looking for application designers/developers to help out (since I am the only one so far, there are approx. 8 game designers working) with a knowledge of java and c++. Object Oriented people are a plus. You can check out the home page at Autumn Worlds. If you are interested, you can contact me at Bret Champoux Edited by - HItman on 9/7/00 2:38:36 PM

Why the hefty NDA?

Because the plan is for this to be a commercial product and we are planning some things no one else has done, or at least I''ve never seen them.
So is this going to be an online project? If so, how do you judge what happens to the proceeds? In these type of projects, there tends to be people drifting in and out of them... Will they see any of the proceeds?

If you are at all interested, go to the website. There will be an email link. This will make its way to the company president and you can discuss these sorts of questions with her. I am just an application designer/developer .
