What thread(s) did you make replies to? That would help me try to figure out what happened.

Rats, you missed it. I just checked now and I can see them, but they were about a day late (at least for my viewing).

They were both to the DirectX/OpenGL/.... group, one on 'OpenGL emulation', and the other on 'DX video modes and monitor'.

It says they were posted 9/13 around 12:00 noon (I guess that's about right. I didn't keep track), but as off this original post I still couldn't see them, or the posts following my two either.

Let's see if this reply posts.

Alright, it happened again (or close to it anyway). In the DirectX group again, in the post 'Physical to video memory blit'. I posted a reply yesterday, which DID show up when I posted it, but I came back now, there are more followups, but I can't see anything except the 1st two replies. I think it's missing my reply and all the following replies.

Look quick, before it corrects itself. I don't want to end up looking like I'm making this stuff up, but it's anoying.

I had this problem a while back until I realized... DUH ... I needed to hit the reload button. It solved my problem maybe it will solve yours too.

Torval

While that does sound like something I would do, in this case I did try to reload quite a few times. It just won't send me the info. It certainly seems to revolve around my posts, but I don't know anything about java or cookies or whatever might be causing this.

Did you happen to look at the msg thread I described? I'm curious if its just my viewing that's screwed up, or if everyone is seeing what I'm seeing. I just checked, and my message is still missing from the 'physical to vid mem' msgs, and since somebody replied to the 'dx and monitor' post, as of now I can't see anything after my reply again in that thread.

What's going on???

Rock

I'm not sure what is going on. I can see your posts in the threads you've mentioned, so I don't know why you can't. Try clearing your memory and disk cache and see if that makes a difference.
I saw that CJ also had this problem. I posted two message replies yesterday, and I can't see either of them, even though the msg count incremented. What happened?

Next time it happens try holding down shift while you press reload... This generally does a better job at making a page reload...

Stupid design on the part of netscape and microsoft I agree but pressing shift-reload is a convention for telling the browser to reload whether or not it thinks you have the latest copy of the page.
( I don't recall having reload not work in the latest versions of ie and netscape, but I know they used to get confused. )
