Something that Doomworld used to have that might work here is a database of projects and/or developers

basically if you were a developer looking for a project you would post your name and qualifications, what language you use or what other stuff you do (graphic artistry, audio/music etc.) and whether or not you were currently available to help with a project.

That way a person trying to form a team for a project could just walk in and look at the board for the people that meet their needs, and could then contact those people.

That's actually something that the Visitor Profiles are supposed to be. Except our slow as hell IT people haven't gotten to it. :-) Maybe that'll be my next major GDNet project or something. Screw the IT.
