I've created a run animation and a simple wave animation in 3dsmax and exported it to Cal3D. I then tried to blend the animations, so that the character ran and waved at the same time, just like in the Cal3D demo. Well it doesn't work right at all. When blending, the run animation of the legs gets blended with the standing still legs of the wave. How do you make it so that only the arm itself is blended with the run? Also, when you're animating in 3dsmax and exporting to Cal3D, if you don't change certains bones during animation, no keys get stored, right?
