Particle System Concepts
Hello, I''m starting to get the hang of Directx and I''m interested in making/playing with particle systems. I was wondering if anyone knew of some good references I could look at describing particle systems and ways of implementation. I''m not looking for source but rather the basic concepts of how particle systems work. My goal is to make library and scripting system to use in future projects. Hopefully it will be a good learning experience.

You should find enough interesting articles to understand how it works, and if you know physics you can write your own time based (instead of frame based) particle system.
